My Dear Internet Friend
By Mikki Tsukiyomi
Although you are a friend of mine,
and despite all the letters we exchange,
I would never know you on the streets of my hometown.
Doesn't that seem and feel a bit strange?
You hold a special place in me life,
unusual and unique.
We both share so much,
from ideals to our dreams,
yet we never speak.
I picture you
As you probably picture me.
Such an amusing game
for someone we cannot see,
dont you agree?
Despite all the letters we send,
despite the fact I may never meet you in the end,
This friendship we share will never die.
So I write this poem to you,
My Dear Internet Friend

The past knocks on your door and throws stones at your window at 4 in the morning. Well, maybe he thinks it's romantic, he's crazy--but you knew that before.
I feel a lot of us can.
I'm really glad you like it!
